People who have never played Fantasy Football should read this overview to get an idea how Fantasy Football works.


A. The league will consist of 12 teams. If you are interested in owning a team, send your request to If I receive more than 12 requests for ownership of a team, I will create separate leagues.

B. The entry fee is $60 for the entire season. That's less than $4 a week for an entire season of excitement! From that $60 entry fee, $9.16 will go towards the cost of running this site (i.e. software to download stats each week, web hosting costs, etc.) The remaining $50.84 will go toward the prizes.

C. Entry fees are due by August 11th, 2007 and there will be no refunds after August 11th, 2007. The draft order will be randomly selected after everyone has paid and there will be no refunds after the draft order has been determined. See the DRAFT DAY section below for more information about the draft.


A. Each team will consist of: 3 QB's, 4 RB's, 6 WR/TE's, 2 PK's, and 2 DF/ST's

B. The WR/TE slot may be any combination of WR's or TE's

** When you draft a defense you automatically draft their special team**

C. If an NFL player was drafted or picked up as a free agent at one position and the player moves to another position while on a fantasy team, the owner will be notified by the commissioner and they will have 2 weeks to use the waiver wire to re-balance their team. During the 2 weeks, the NFL player will retain his original position. If the owner does not re-balance their team within 2 weeks, the commissioner will balance the team as he sees fit.


A. There are two different types of line-ups to choose from:

1. 1 QB, 2 RB's, 3 WR/TE's, 1 PK, and 1 DF/ST

2. 1 QB, 1 RB, 4 WR/TE's, 1 PK, and 1 DF/ST

B. All starting lineups must be submitted 5 minutes prior to kickoff of the first NFL game that week. If you have players that will be playing on either a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, those players' names MUST be submitted prior to the start of those games. The rest of your lineup may be changed 5 minutes prior to the start of Sunday's games. Monday night players must be submitted 5 minutes prior to the start of Sunday's games.

C. If a lineup is not received 5 minutes prior to game time on Sunday, the previous week's lineup will be used. If you do not submit a lineup prior to a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday game and you let your lineup default from the previous week, any players that play in the Thursday, Friday, or Saturday game will receive 0 points. Therefore, if you intend to start players in a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday game, you must submit your lineup 5 minutes prior to the start of those games.

D. All bye week players will be considered inactive. If your lineup contains a player on a team that has a bye for the current week, you will receive 0 points for that player.

E. If for some reason your starting lineup does not appear on the webpage after you submit it, you should e-mail me or call me with your starting lineup 5 minutes prior to game time. It is your responsiblility to make sure I've received your lineup. If you don't see your starting lineup after you submitted it, try clicking Reload on your browser.

1. A defensive TD is a fumble recovery or an interception returned for a touchdown. Note that the NFL does not count a fumble recovery or an interception on a 2 point conversion play to be returned and therefore it is not a turnover. No points are awarded for such a play.
2. A special team TD occurs when a TD is scored on a kickoff, punt return, blocked punt, or blocked field goal.
3. If a player on your team scores a touchdown on defense or on special teams, the defense or special teams gets the score -- not the player. For example, if Joey Galloway were to return a punt for a touchdown, the Dallas Cowboys DF/ST would score 6 points and Joey Galloway would score 0.
4. If you have a tie with your opponent for a given week, the ties will count as a half win and half loss in the computation of winning percentage and that winning percentage determines the rankings.
5. No player or defense can receive less than 0 points.


A. Season

The regular season consists of the first 13 weeks of the NFL regular season. The schedule for the regular season will be randomly generated prior to the draft day and it will be generated such that every team will play each other at least once and every team will play two teams twice. The six teams with the best records at the end of the regular season will advance to the GregBowl playoffs. The next four best teams will advance to the LoserBowl playoffs. The two worst teams will not make the playoffs. The teams are seeded as follows:

For week 14, the GregBowl seeds #1 and #2 have a bye, seed #3 plays seed #6, and seek #4 plays seed #5. The LoserBowl seed #1 plays seed #4 and seed #2 plays seed #3.

For week 15, the two teams that lost in the LoserBowl bracket in week 14 are eliminated. The highest seed that lost in the GregBowl bracket in week 14 drops to the LoserBowl bracket and plays the lowest remaining seed from the LoserBowl bracket. The other team that lost in the GregBowl bracket in week 14 drops to the LoserBowl bracket and plays the highest remaining seed from the LoserBowl bracket. Seed #1 from the GregBowl bracket plays the lowest seed remaining from week 14 and seed #2 plays the best remaining seed from week 14.

For week 16, the winners of each bracket from week 15 square off in the Fantasy Bowl, and the losers from each bracket play to decide third and fourth place. For week 17, enjoy the NFL games and enjoy the holidays!

B. Ties are broken in the following order:

1. Head to Head record
2. Most Total Starting Points
3. Least Total Opponent's Points
4. Coin toss

C. Tie-breakers during playoff games:

1. Highest seed wins


A. Waiver Wire Pickups

1. Any player not drafted or any player dropped from a roster becomes a Free Agent. All teams are allowed to submit requests to pick up Free Agents.
2. The priority for picking up Free Agents is as follows:
a. The team with the poorest record receives the first selection (but only the first of the team's potentially many selections).
b. The team with the next poorest record receives the second selection, and so on up to the team with the best record.
c. The team with the poorest record then receives the next available selection and this continues until all requests have been processed.
d. During the regular season, worst record, least total starting points, most total opponent's points, and highest draft position determine the order of pickups.
e. During the playoffs, all waivers will be processed for teams in the winner's bracket before any will be processed for teams in the loser's bracket. Team's seeding will determine the order of pickups where lower seeds get priority over higher seeds.
3. Waiver Wire requests must be submitted between 12:00 a.m. Tuesday morning and 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening MST. If there is a Thursday game, requests must be submitted before 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening MST.
4. Use the webpage to send your submission. Submit a list of players in order of pickup preference. In addition, a list of players to waive must be provided for each position requested for pickup.
5. You may pickup as many players as you like. Requests will be filled one at a time using the criteria set forth in #2 above.
6. You may not request a player you dropped during the previous week.
7. Each waiver transaction must result in dropping and picking up the same position. For example, you cannot request to drop a RB and pick up a WR because that would put your roster out of balance with 3 RBs and 7 WRs, which isn't allowed.
8. There will be no waivers processed prior to week 1.

B. Trades

1. You may trade with any other team in your league. Trades are limited to four trades per season per team. Trading three players for three players with one team is considered ONE trade.
2. All trades must be done on a "one player for one player" basis.
3. The final week of trading is the week prior to week 12 games.
4. Your roster must remain in balance at the conclusion of a trade. If you are not trading "position for position," this will require expanding your existing trade or making a trade with another player.

For example, if you were to trade Brett Favre for Emmitt Smith, your team would now be short a QB and have an extra RB. Likewise, the opponent which you traded with, would be short a RB and have an extra QB. You can iron out this imbalance by:

a. Expanding the original trade. In the above example, trading Brett Favre and Terrell Davis for Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith would result in balance on both sides, and still result in only ONE trade.
b. Making a trade with another team. You could trade Brett Favre for Emmitt Smith with one team, then trade Terrell Davis for Peyton Manning with another team. This puts your roster in balance, but it does require that the other two teams balance their rosters with additional trades.

5. If you trade away a player to another team, you may not trade with anyone to get that same player back on your team for a minimum of 5 weeks. So, if you trade away a player prior to week 3, you may not trade to get him back until after week 7. However, if you trade away a player and that same player becomes a free agent before 5 weeks, you may go after him through the waiver wire.
6. You may include trading your waiver position as part of a trade to another team. Trades that include a waiver position must be submitted prior to the waiver selection cutoff.
7. You may trade your draft order to another team prior to the draft but that will count as one of your trades for the season.
8. All owners must report all trades to me. I reserve the right to void any unbalanced trade to prevent teams from building powerhouses for purposes of splitting winnings. Lopsided trades are part of the game, but cheating via outrageous trades will not be allowed.
9. Trades can be made each week up until 8:00 p.m. Saturday night. Players who play in Thursday, Friday, or Saturday games may be traded prior to the Saturday night trade cutoff as long as they were not in anyone's lineup before the lineup cutoff for those games.


A. The draft will be Tuesday, September 4th, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. (MST). The draft will probably take between 3 to 4 hours. It will be held using a chat room or you can come to my house.

B. The draft is performed using the "serpentine" method. After randomly selecting the team order, the first round of the draft begins with Team #1 making the first pick, followed by Team #2 with the second pick, and so on. This order is reversed for the second round; that is, the team with the final pick in the first round gets the first pick in the second round. All odd-numbered rounds are in the same order as the first round, and all even-numbered rounds are in the same order as the second round.

C. You will have two minutes between picks to make your selection. If you do not make a selection within two minutes, I will make a selection for you.

D. If you cannot attend the draft and you do not have a person representing you, I will make your picks based off of a list that I obtain from some reasonable source.

E. You can trade your draft position with anyone in the league, but this must be done prior to your first pick, and will result in you switching draft order throughout the entire draft. See the Trades section above for more information about trading your draft position.
